Norman Dale “Buster” Moon Jr. age 39 of Hillsboro died at his residence Saturday morning, November 30, 2002. He was born March 26, 1963 in Hillsboro the son of the late Norman Dale Moon Sr. and Nora Hopkins Moon Davis of Hillsboro. He was a carpenter with M & M Associates for 19 years, a member of the Samantha Free Will Baptist Church, a member of F.O.E. # 1161 of Hillsboro where he was past president from 1993 to 1994 and a member of the AMVETS #61. Along with his mother, he is survived by his stepfather, Walter E. Davis of Hillsboro; his sons, Rocky and Dakota Moon of Leesburg; a step daughter, Ashley Payne of Jefferson City, TN.; sisters and brother-in-law, Connie Moon of Greenfield, Joyce and Joe Carlisle of Henderson, W. VA.; three nieces and two nephews. Including his father he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Harry and Gertrude Hopkins, paternal grandmother Dency Curry, and his niece, Miranda Moon. Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 3, 2002 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Brother Wiley Perkins will officiate. Burial will follow in the New Market Cemetery. Friends may call 5:00 until 8:00 P.M.
