Ronald L. Moberly age 61 of the Buford Community died Sunday, August 6, 2006 at his residence. He was born February 13, 1945 in Buford, Ohio the son of Harriett Louise Shoemaker Moberly of Hillsboro and the late Lawrence Moberly. Mr. Moberly was a dredge operator for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and a member of the Buford Church of Christ. He had been a High School Basketball Referee and had coached softball, baseball and 5th and 6th grade basketball for several years. He loved the outdoors especially bow hunting, camping and fishing. He also loved his companions, Pebbles and Tootie, which are dachshunds and Halo his Pug. He is survived by his wife, Linda Martin Moberly whom he had married on June 26, 1965 in Buford. Three children, Lynette and her husband Frank Knisley of Buford, Derek and his wife Brandi Moberly of Lynchburg, Deanna and her husband Jacob Zink of Leesburg, five grandchildren, Tyler, Tanner and Teagan Knisley and Koben and Kennedy Zink, four brothers, Eugene Moberly of Buford, Glenn and his wife Cindy Moberly of Buford, Gerald and his wife Teresa Moberly of Wilmington, Larry and his wife Erma Moberly of Lynchburg, his mother-in-law, Gladys Martin of Buford, brother-in-law, Roger and his wife Carolyn Martin of Danville, sister-in-law, Sharon and her husband Daryl Hibbs of Buford and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Buford Church of Christ. Hugh Hurley will officiate. Burial will follow in the Buford Cemetery.
