Mary Frances Miller
age 89 of Hillsboro died Wednesday evening September
20, 2006 at the Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro. She was born May 18,
1917 in Springfield, Ohio the daughter of the late Manluff Wellington and Sally
Owenna (Elliott) Reed. Mrs. Miller was a Charter Member of the Carmel Church of
God and in later years attended the Hillsboro First Baptist Church. She is
survived by three daughters, Arlene F. Miller of Hillsboro, Phyllis C. Wahl of
Cincinnati, Elaine Ballentine of Hillsboro and Nadine McCann of Lexington,
Kentucky, thirteen grandchildren, numerous grand and great grandchildren and one
brother and sister-in-law, The Reverend John T. and Marjorie Reed of Hillsboro.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank
Oliver Miller on December 15, 2001 and by one great granddaughter, Olivia
Richmond. Services will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, September 23rd
at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. The Reverend Todd Toole will
officiate. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Sinking Spring.
Friends may call on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Turner
& Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. The family will also receive friends on
Saturday following the graveside services at the Hillsboro First Baptist Church,
127 South West Street in Hillsboro. Memorial contributions may be made to the
Hillsboro First Baptist Church, 127 South West Street, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133 or
to the charity of the donor’s choice.
