Ralph Anthony “Tony” Michael age 58 of Columbus, Ohio died Friday December 31, 2010 at the Kobacker House in Columbus. He was born July 29, 1952 in Camp Polk, Louisiana the son of Ralph and Joyce J. Thomas Michael.  Tony was an independent contractor, a 1970 graduate of Hillsboro High School and attended The Ohio State University. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce J. Michael on March 28, 1991. He is survived by his wife, Janet Berry Michael, three children, Derek and Bryan Michael of Columbus and Krista Koehl of Oregon, his father, Ralph (Billie) Michael of Hillsboro, one sister, Tami Nash of Westerville and his best friends and constant companions, Otis and Lucy. Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 8, 2011 at the Barker Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kobacker House/Riverside, 3595 Olentangy River Road, Columbus, Ohio 43214. The Turner & Son Funeral Home is serving the family.
