Jean Elizabeth McMahan, age 93, of Lynchburg, died Sunday morning, October 30, 2011 at the Laurels of Blanchester. She was born March 30, 1918, in Norwood, Ohio, a daughter of the late James S. and Ora E. (Elliott) Vickery. She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Lynchburg. She is survived by two children, Patricia Ann Eidenier of Lynchburg and Richard Charles McMahan of Johns Creek, Georgia; a grandson, Daniel (Jana) Eidenier of Fort Wright, Kentucky, a step-granddaughter, Natalie Parlier of Johns Creek, Georgia, as well as several step great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of forty-two years, Richard Paul McMahan, who passed away November 2, 1992, and a daughter-in-law, Cheryl McMahan. Graveside funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 3, 2011 at the Lynchburg Masonic Cemetery. Rev. Bob Skipper will officiate. There will be no public visitation.
