Mary Frank McCall, age 102, of Blanchester, died Friday, June 18, 2010 at the Continental Manor Nursing Home in Blanchester. She was born December 7, 1907 in Obrham South, Bavaria, the daughter of the late Josef and Maria Schwartzel Heiss. She had been a member of Holy Name Catholic Church and St. Angela Merici; she was past president of Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion, Blanchester Post #179; past president of Holy Name Ladies Sodality; member of St. Martin Ladies Sodality; and contributor to Ursulines of Brown County. She is survived by two sons, Walter (Ruth) Frank of Lynchburg, and Armin (Geneva) Frank of Clermont County; seven grandchildren, Erich, Hagen, Rainer, Catherine, Chris, Victoria, and Jeff; and fifteen great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two husbands, Henry O. Frank, and Forest McCall; son Manfried; two grandsons, Mitch Frank and Kurt Frank; sisters Bertha, Franciska, Margarete, Anna, Mattilda, Hedig, Rosa, Theresa and Elizabeth; and brother Josef, Maximiliam, Heinz, and Franz. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 12:00 p.m. Thursday, June 24, 2010 at Holy Name Catholic Church in Blanchester. Father Henry F. Albietz will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in the Blanchester I.O.O.F Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 12:00 p.m. The Davis-Turner Funeral Home, Lynchburg, is serving the family.
