Barbara Ann Mayfield age 64 of Hillsboro died Thursday morning, May 12, 2005 at the Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro. She was born June 16, 1940 in Leisenring, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Walter Louis and Charlotte Agnes (Hillman) Skonezny. Mrs. Mayfield was a licensed practical nurse having worked in several hospitals in and around the San Diego, California area. She is survived by her husband, Willis Gene Mayfield whom she had married on March 12, 1966 at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in ElCajon, California. She is also survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Ryan Siebe of Williamsburg, son and daughter-in-law, Steven Eugene and LeAnne Mayfield of Eastgate, nine grandchildren and one brother, Theodore Skonezny of Bullhead City, Arizona. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Louis and Michael Skonezny. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 17th at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Batavia. Rev. Bill Stockelman will officiate. There will be no visitation. The Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro is serving the family.

My deepest sympathy for the loss of a cousin that I went to school with in Pa. from 1947 to 1955. I amsorry we lost touch with each other as time and distance do. My sympathy to all and to her brother Teddy of Bullhead City. My prayers are with you guys. Ed Skonezny
