Wilmer Malone Sr. age 98 formerly of Lynchburg, Ohio died Tuesday, October 14, 2003 at the Highland District Hospital. He was born May 7, 1905 in Lynchburg, Ohio the son of the late Wiley and Mary “Molly” Reveal Malone. Mr. Malone had retired as a salesman for the Ohio Farmer Magazine, was a member of the Lynchburg United Methodist Church and had attended the Allensburg Church of Christ. He is survived by one son, Jim Clement (Camille Pirolli) Malone of Ormond Beach, Florida, two daughters-in-law, Phoebe May White Malone of Marion, Ohio, Gloria Foster Malone of Cincinnati, one step-daughter, Phyllis (Junior) Hostetler of Lynchburg, seven grandchildren, Molly (Bill) Williamson, Nancy (Jerry) Foster, Ronnie Malone Seafort, Pam (John) Zisman, Terry (Diane) Malone, Michael (Connie) Malone, Brian (Jen) Malone, two step-grandchildren, Jeffrey (Norma) Hostetler, Jonda Quintero, eight great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mildred Kathleen Chaney Malone, his second wife, Hazel Weisflock Malone, his third wife, Mozelle Chaney Gilliland Malone, two sons, Wilmer Malone Jr., Richard Kent Malone and by several brothers and sisters.. Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg. Leo Kuhn will officiate. Burial will follow in the Lynchburg Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services at 12:00 p.m. at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg.
