Father will be missed by the Blankenship Family. He has for years conducted mass at Richard Blankenship's home located outside of Hillsboro. I married Ernie and Rita Blankenship's middle son and became a member of the church before marriage. Father was a kind gentle sole that made entering into the church with ease. We have one son that is also a member of the church. His voice will also be remembered and will continue to be thought of. The mass conducted each year will be missed and each July we will remember all of the good times spent. God Bless Him.

The SOPC lost a real partner in our outreach ministry to women and their unborn babies. Stan served on the Board of Directors for many years. After resigning from the Board he continued his support through his parish. His love for the unborn was very evident. He is a man that will be missed in this community.

To Father Luehrmann's family, At this time of unexpected loss my family sends sympathy to you. Father Luehrmann served my family in good times ( the baptism of my daughter, Kaleigh) and in sad times ( the death of my mother, Betty). My mother loved taking flowers and homemade jellies to Father because he always appreciated the work she had put into it. I celebrate his gracious spirit and remember his wonderful life. God Bless you. Debbi Ellis

My mother had problems. What could she offer to eat? The questions were not difficult for him. I am said, that I never visited him in Cincinatti. Maria

Our deepest sympathy to Father Luehrmann's family and to the parishioners of St. Mary's. While we were never members of the Parish, we visited St. Mary's when we were visiting our son, Jim and his family. We always enjoyed his sermons and the reverance in the way he always said Mass. Even at the weekday Masses he would always sing opening and closing hymns.

The most memorialable occasion was August 26, 2000 when he officated at the wedding of our granddaughter, Mary.

We know that God welcomed Father Luehrmann with open arms.

We are so sorry to hear of Father Stan's passing. We have so enjoyed his masses while spending our summer weekends at Rocky Fork Lake. He was a wonderful person, who we believe resides with the communion of saints.

Rest in the loving arms of God, Father Stan.
