Lois Elizabeth Ludwick age 81 of Hillsboro died Saturday evening, August 14, 2004 at the Highland District Hospital. She was born June 5, 1923 in Edon, Ohio the daughter of the late Roy and Elizabeth (Kirby) Doty. Mrs. Ludwick had worked for twenty years for the Highland County Department of Human Services, was a member of the Hillsboro Church of Christ and a fifty-year member of the Hillsboro Order of Eastern Star Chapter 441. She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Ludwick, one son and daughter-in-law, David and Kay Ludwick of Chimney Rock, North Carolina, daughter and son-in-law, Diann and Scott Coffman of Kettering, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one sister, Hazel Gerhart of Edon, Ohio and one brother, Robert Doty of Indiana. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Debra Ludwick and two sisters, Eileen Hall and Evelyn Doty. Services will be held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. John Porter will officiate. Burial will follow in the Strange Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with Order of Eastern Star Services at 8:45 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hillsboro Church of Christ, 155 West Walnut Street, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133 or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
