Lucas age 60 of New Vienna, Ohio died
Wednesday morning, April 14, 2004 at the Hospice of Dayton. She was born May 26,
1943 in Grahn, Kentucky the daughter of the late Donald and Mary Madeline
(Fisher) Duncan. Mrs. Lucas had been a housekeeper and had worked with the
Highland County Senior Citizens. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law,
Carolyn Faye and Tim Burns of New Vienna, four grandchildren, Mitchell Wayne
Combs, T.J. Burns, B.J. Burns and Karen Leeann Combs, two great grandchildren,
four sisters, Faye Barker of Grahn, Kentucky, Louann Sheets of Columbus, Sue
Carroll of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Evelyn Yearin of Xenia and one brother, Charles
Duncan of Jamestown. In addition to her parents, her husband, Howard Quincy
Lucas in January 2004 and two brothers, Artie and Kermit Duncan, preceded her in
death. Services will be held 7:00 p.m. Monday at the Turner & Son Funeral
Home in Hillsboro. Pastor Elizabeth Looney will officiate. Burial will follow on
Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at the High Top Cemetery in Samantha. Friends may call on
Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in
