Virgil Lovely, age 73, of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, July 5, 2005 at Highland District Hospital. He was born on May 9, 1932 in Breathet County, Kentucky, the son of the late Thomas L. and Minnie (Hensley) Lovely. He worked in highway construction for over 29 years. He is survived by his life companion, Shirley Williamson of Hillsboro, two daughters Tammy Dietrich of Hillsboro and Lisa (Wayne) Dance of Hillsboro, a son Danny Nichols of Kentucky, special son Randy (Rosemary Yankey) Williamson of Hillsboro, four grandsons Jonathan Ralston of Greenfield, Eric Dietrich of Hillsboro, Tyler Dance of Hillsboro and Dustin Dance of Hillsboro, five granddaughters Alicia Ralston of Hillsboro, Jessica Ralston of Hillsboro, Heather Morris of Hillsboro, Natasha Dance of Hillsboro and Kayla Dance of Hillsboro. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a great-granddaughter Hailey Carr, two sisters Ellen Lovely and Jess Lovely, four brothers Hobart Lovely, Tommy Lovely, Clay Lovely and Paul Eldridge. Funeral services for Mr. Lovely will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 8 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Leo Kuhn will officiate. Burial will follow in the Prospect Cemetery.
