Evelyn Marie Locey age 80 of Hillsboro died Saturday morning, October 19, 2002 at the Laurels in Hillsboro. She was born December 13, 1921 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of the late Fred and Nettie (Storer) Locey. She was a graduate of Hillsboro High School and had worked as a bookkeeper in the lumber business for her entire life, first with Dexter Lumber Company in Norwood and later for the Western Home Center in Cincinnati. She is survived by four sisters-in-law, Sarah Locey of Hillsboro, Josephine Locey of Cincinnati, Jean Mapes of Bradenton, Florida and Mary Sue Rogers of Cincinnati, two nieces, Shirley Jean Locey of Tampa, Florida, Susan Merritt of Cincinnati and five nephews, Daniel Locey Jr., Fred Locey III and Joel Locey all of Cincinnati, David Locey of Pickerington and Douglas Locey of California. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Dan, Fred and Charles Locey. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Bob Stevens will officiate. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery in Blue Ash. Friends may call on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
