Vernon L. Lee age 71 of Lynchburg, Ohio died Saturday evening, January 10, 2004 at his residence. He was born February 8, 1932 in Piqua, Ohio the son of the late Earl and Levina (Chaney) Lee. Mr. Lee was a retired interior-exterior painting sub-contractor. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict serving with the 82nd Airborne. He is survived by his wife, Madonna L. (Younker) Lee whom he had married on March 3, 1961 in Spring Valley, Ohio, one son, Tim Lee of Columbus, twin daughters, Jerry Lee of Cincinnati, Sherry Maguire of Nevada, one grandson, Brandon Maguire of Nevada, one brother, Stanley Lee of Arizona and one sister, Shirley Hampton of Lake Tahoe, Nevada. In addition to his parents one sister, Loretta and one brother Robert Lee preceded him in death. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg. Robert Coyle will officiate. Burial, with military honors presented by the Highland County Honor Guard, will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg.
