I served with Lt.Col.Bob Larkin from 1959 to 1970 at Clinton County AFB and found him to be one of the best officers I have ever known. Also one of the best friends. The Buckeye Wing Association will miss him dearly. Bob has earned his place in heaven.

The sun sends billions of beams of light down to the earth. Today, there is one less beam.
I have been an admirer of Mike my entire life. In my opinion Mike was the finest athlete ever in Highland County. He also was a model teacher and coach at Fairfield for a couple years before being called to serve his country for the second time.
A guy like Mike doesn't come along every day .... ..... jbp ...........

Lisa, Dann: Couldn't help but just tear up and cry on the inside. I miss my dad horribly everyday and I know you will too. God bless you as you learn to carry on without him.
Peggy: I have not been through nearly the things you have, but have always been inspired by your beautiful soul. I loved to watch you and Mike hold hands as you walked. You were always so sweet with each other. God bless you as your life goes on.

I just learned of Mr. Larkins' passing. He was always such a nice person. I met Mike and Barbara a short time after I started working for Krogers in Hillsboro. They were both funny, sweet, and a lot of fun to be around. I was happy to hear that he was married again. He was a special man and I know it would take a very special person to make him happy. You have my deepest sympathy and are in my prayers.

Dear Peggy and family, please accept our heartfelt expressions of sympathy, as you greive for the loss of a husband, dad, grandfather and friend. We were blessed to have known "Mike" since the late 1950's. So many wonderful memories, as he was truly a very special man, full of life and energy, so thoughtful, he made others in his presence feel special. Our last precious memories of "Mike" are ones we shared in the Emmaus Communty, as we worshiped our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May our Lord Jesus give you strength and comfort for the days ahead as you remember and celebrate "mike's" life.
