Kathleen W. Larkin, age 69, of Leesburg, died Monday, January 20, 2003 at the Highland County District Hospital. She was born December 15, 1933 the daughter of the late Harold and Alice (Hixson) Wright. She was a member of the Leesburg United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband Robert S. Larkin, to whom she married, June 24, 1956; one son, Robert “Kert” Larkin, of Leesburg; two daughters, Margaret (Frank) Larkin Burns, of Alpharetta, Georgia, and Jeanette “Jeanie” (Rob) Girman, of Leesburg; four grandchildren, Joe Larkin and Rachel Larkin of Kent, Ohio, and Jack and Kate Burns of Alpharetta, Georgia; one brother, Dale Wright, of Leesburg; four sisters, Carol Garringer, of Leesburg, Evelyn (Richard) Charles, of Citrus Heights, California, Julia (Orville) Newman, of Highland, and Ruth (Tom) Priest, of Highland; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 24, 2003 at the Leesburg United Methodist Church. The Rev. Max Jackson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hightop Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Highland County District Hospital Foundation, 1275 N.
