Dear Family, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Dave was a wonderful man and a great friend to my family. I loved to listen to his stories,he could tell them as good as my Dad and Dick Shaffer. He was part of that "great" generation that will be greatly missed. You are all in my thoughtd and prayers.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time. I will always think of "Big" Dave in my memories from HHS. God Bless
Janet, Dave, Gary & Cathy,
I can't begin to express the sadness in my heart upon hearing of the lost of such a good friend. The times I spent working with Dave at the "lake" were some of the best of my life. I don't know anyone whom enjoyed life more than Dave and he was always so much fun to be around.
I can remember Dave telling me that it was time for him to stop playing basketball when he could no longer beat "little Dave" one-on-one. He was so very proud of his children.
Janet and Dave's friendship with my dad and stepmom (Harold & Janell Ludwick) was also very strong. I remember dad telling me about sitting on a cruise ship with Dave and Dave saying that this was "pretty good for a ole boy from West Virginia".
I'm sitting here crying my eyes out over such beautiful memories. I want you all to know that Dave's spirit will be in my mind and heart forever. In that way his memory will live forever.
God bless y'all and give you strength!
Andy

My thoughts go out to you and your family during your time of loss...... your friend, Persinger
Dear Janet & Family...
Please accept our deepest sympathy on losing Dave. He was always such a gentleman when I managed the dining room at the Elks Lodge, which was really my first experience in dealing with Dave.
Dave didn't suffer fools lightly, and we talked of many things while going over weekly reports for the Lodge. He was a 'straight shooter', and a man who lived by his convictions. He will be missed by all of us who were privileged to know him.
Our prayers are with you all, and May God Bless.
Leslie Ramsey, Margaret Ludwick, and Family
Dear Larimer Family, We are so sorry to hear of Mr. Larimer's passing. May the memories of the good times you had as a family comfort you during this sad time.
Dear Larimer family, So sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you. I had the greatest respect for Mr. Larimer in school, even though we disagreed a couple of times.
Dear Larimer family, I am sorry for your loss I have to agree with Sue he was one from the great generation. I spent many days at the Elks just listening to him and all the old wise men who spent there time there playing cards and telling stories. It is sad but there are not many left from that good old group I know I sure do miss them.
Janet, and family; I was saddened to see the passing of your husband, Dave, and wanted to express my sincere heartfelt sympathy at this time. It was a pleasure to have been a part of his care while at HCR. May God touch each of you and grant you the comfort and peace that only he can. Bless you all.
Please accept my sincerest condolences on the passing of Mr. Larimer. As a student of Hillsboro High School, I was very respective of Mr. Larimer, and even received a couple of well deserved "paddlings". As I approached my Senior year at HHS, I was hired on at Rocky Fork Lake and worked directly under Mr. Larimer for the next three summers. It was at this time I grew to know "Dave". Dave was the man who could inspire and enlighten everyday with great wit and incredible sense of humor! I had never laughed so much in my life prior to those days. Finally, to accomplish one of my goals at that time in my life, I needed three letters of recommendation from outstanding leaders of the local community. Dave wrote one of the three letters I needed. Allowing me to proceed on in life and accomplish much. For that and the many great times we shared at Rocky Fork Lake, I am eternally grateful.
