L. Paul Lands, age 73, of Amelia and Hillsboro, died Sunday, June 22, 2003 at his residence in Hillsboro. He was born December 25, 1929 in Morehead, Kentucky, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Boone Lands. He was a Veteran Of the United States Army, a farmer and was retired from General Motors of Norwood. He is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Marie (Price) Lands, three brothers and three sisters. In addition to his parents one brother precedes him in death. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Friday, June 27, 2003 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home, Hillsboro. Pastor Richard Burns will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hamer Township Cemetery where the Highland County Honor Guard will provide Military Honors.
