Medora “Dodie” Koogler age 82 of Cincinnati, Ohio died Sunday morning, July 27, 2003 at the Mercy Franciscan Providence Hospital in Cincinnati. She was born November 24, 1920 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of the late Earl L. and Mildred (Ames) Pence. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Kay and Bill Swisshelm of Cincinnati, Karen and Tom Black of Hillsboro, nine grandchildren, three step grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, six step great grandchildren, one sister, Patricia Manning of Dayton, two brothers, Monte A. Pence of Texas and Saron A. Pence of California. In addition to her parents one son Lee Koogler preceded her in death. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. David Stokes will officiate. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Kay & Family. So very sorry to hear about your Mother. I remember "Dodie" when we lived across the street(North Hight St.) from you, a hundred years ago. Although she has left you many memories, I'm sure you will miss her so very much....
