
Bernice
G. (Cole) Hibbs Knisley, of Tempe, AZ, formerly of Hillsboro, went to be
with her Lord Friday, March 4, 2005 in Mesa, AZ. She was born November 19,
1910, in Adams County, the daughter of J. B. & Anna (Burr) Cole. She
was a member of Hillsboro Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by her husband, Verlyn Knisley, whom she
married September 8, 1977, two daughters and sons-in-law, Patsy (Mike)
Cunningham, Tempe, AZ, Dorothy (Robert) West, Mechanicsburg, PA, three
granddaughters, Michelle Macero, Tempe, AZ, Melonie (Bill) Hinton, Enola, PA,
Carol Ann (Mike) Neeld, Xenia, Ohio, four great-grandchildren, Nickolys &
Katorina Hinton, Taylor & Micah Neeld, and several nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, J. D. Hibbs on October
10, 1970, and 8 brothers & sisters. Bernice's wish was that her
obituary would read that she gave her heart to the Lord and that's all that
matters! Services will be held
Friday, March 11, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at Hillsboro Church of the Nazarene, 8230
U.S. Rt. 50, with Rev. Tom Zile officiating. Visitation will be held from
5-7 p.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be in Locust Grove Cemetery,
Peebles. Turner & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
