Patricia Anne Knisley age 60 of Hillsboro, the Russell Community, died Tuesday, June 20, 2006 at her residence. She was born December 19, 1945 in Russell Station, Ohio the daughter of the late Richard and Alice Minette (Stratton) McClain. Mrs. Knisley was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, David Knisley, whom she had married on July 20, 1963 in Bainbridge, Ohio, three children, David Bradley Knisley of Wilmington, Cinda and Doug Holt of Russell and Dulcie Nicole and Jeremy Knisley of Lynchburg, seven grandchildren, David James “D.J.” Knisley, Devon Andrew Knisley, Derek Holt, Doug Holt, Danielle Holt, Brooklin Anteck and Talon Knisley, four sisters, Alice Warner of Lynchburg, Dee Frye of Hillsboro, Barbara Knisley of Hillsboro, Lola Knisley of Russell, four brothers, Richard Terrell McClain of Dodsonville, Michael McClain of Lynchburg, James David McClain of Russell, Keith McClain of St. Martin and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Sunday at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg. Andy Cooper will officiate. Burial will follow in the Strange Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg.
