Lawrence Edward Knight age 71 of Mason, Ohio died Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at the home of his nephew and special son, Michael Knight. He was born June 29, 1939 in Oak Hill, West Virginia the son of the late Emmett C. and Alfreda Moon Knight. Lawrence Knight had been a truck driver for many years and was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War. In addition to his nephew and special son Michael Knight of Hillsboro, he is survived by one brother, Melvin Wayne (Mona) Knight of Alexandria, Virginia, one sister, Colleen (Bennie) Craft of Vermillion, Ohio, and a special friend, Marsha Gau and her granddaughter Brook Thomas of Hillsboro and his best friends, Orville and Cherie Thomas and their daughter Tami Thomas of West Chester, Ohio.. He was preceded in death by one brother, Roy Knight and two sisters, Mary Ann Knight and Sheila Kincer. Mr. Knight’s personal request was that his body be cremated and that no services be held.
