Donald W.W. King age 84 of Hillsboro died Saturday, September 25, 2010 at his residence. He was born September 18, 1926 in Willettsville, Ohio the son of the late Byron and Lizzie Mae Pence King. Mr. King had worked for several years as a machinist for the General Electric Corporation and later retired after twenty years with the United States Postal Service. He had also worked as a real estate agent for the Hite Reality Company, was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II and was a member of the Allensburg Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Mary Martin King whom he had married on June 12, 1954 at the Hillsboro Church of Christ, two daughters, Beverly Stout and Darlene (Herb) Mihalik of Hillsboro, four grandchildren, Jennifer Mihalik of Hillsboro, Julie Shepherd of Bethel, Joshua Mihalik and Drew Stout of Hillsboro and one sister, Mary Long of Hillsboro. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Thelma Davis and one brother, John E. King. Services will be held at the convenience of the family at the Turner & Son Funeral Home. Kyle Dickerson will officiate. Burial, with military services presented by the Highland County Honor Guard, will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery. There will be no public visitation.
