Helen Grace King age 86 of Loveland, Ohio died Sunday, September 26, 2004 at the Loveland Health Care Center. She was born June 10, 1918 in Adams County, Ohio the daughter of the late Ross and Cora (Little) Scott. Mrs. King had been a cook for the Oakland Nursing Home and had worked at Rocky Fork Lake Camp Store and Marina. She had been a member of the Cherry Fork United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband Richard King whom she had married on July 29, 1937 in Maysville, Kentucky, two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Charles Vance of Loveland, Nancy Vance of Hillsboro, one son and daughter-in-law, Alva Richard and Joan King of Oklahoma, one daughter-in-law, Shirley Tadlock of Martinsville, fourteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Robert Tadlock, one grandson, Jeffrey Vance, two brothers Ervin and Russell Scott, two sisters, Thelma Burbage and Lucille Flaugher and one son-in-law, Drexel Vance. Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 29th at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. The Rev. Harold Braley will officiate. Burial will follow in the Cherry Fork Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from Noon until time of services at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
