John T. Kerrison,
age 55, of Hillsboro, died Friday, September 29, 2006
at the Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus.
He was born April 13, 1951 in Columbus, Ohio the son of the late Richard
T. and Nancy E. Borland Kerrison. He
attended the Faith Community Church in Hillsboro.
Mr. Kerrison served in the United States Marine Corps. from 1970-1974,
attaining the rank of Sergeant; and had worked in the Security Department at
U.S.E.C. Power in Piketon for more than 30 years.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, JoAnna and P.J. McGaughey
of Piketon; three grandchildren, Andrea L., Paul M. and Clarke A. McGaughey; one
brother James A. Kerrison of Delaware; one sister and brother-in-law, Diana L.
and Jeff Bell of Columbus; and two nieces, Jennifer and Katey Bell both of
Columbus. In addition to his
parents he is preceded by an infant brother.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 4, 2006 at Faith Community
Church, 8343 SR 73 N., Hillsboro. Pastor
Chuck Tabor will officiate. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in
Chillicothe. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Faith
Community Church. The

John and I were friends in Jr High and High School. I remember him as a very friendly person. Great guy! My sympathies to his family and loved ones.

I was so sorry to hear of John's passing. I was in John's graduating class of '69 at CHS. He was always a nice, sweet guy in high school. My prayers go out to his family and friends.

John was a good man, loved his children and grandchildren very much. Wish we could have been there today, but we were not able to attend, he will be sadley missed, and never ever forgotton. Our prayers and thoughts go out to his family.
