Robert Lee Justice, age 79, of Hillsboro, died Thursday, February 2, 2006 at his residence. He was born on April 19, 1926, in Highland County, the son of the late Wilbur and Hazel Belle (Countryman) Justice. He was very proud of his service to his country, having served in the United States Army during World War II and the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He attended the Samantha Free Will Baptist Church, was a Life Member of the Greenfield V.F.W. Post #4736 and was also a Life Member of the Am Vets Rocky Fork Post #61. He is survived by his wife Beverly of Hillsboro, a sister Bernice (Harold) Snider of Milford, five stepchildren, Robert (Tina) Talbott of Mowrystown, Mary (Adrian Young) Talbott of Hillsboro, Nancy (Larry Rhoades) Talbott of Hillsboro, Valerie (Robert) Allgood of Leesburg and Thomas (Lynn) Talbott, Jr., of New Vienna, twenty step-grandchildren and nine step-great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Edwin Glen Justice. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 4, 2006 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Brother Wylie Perkins and Kenneth Rhoades will officiate. Burial with military honors accorded by the Highland County Honor Guard will follow at the Resthaven Memory Gardens.
