Bettye B. Joiner age 81 of Washington C.H., formerly of Doyline, Louisiana, died Saturday morning, July 23, 2005 at the Court House Manor. She was born August 24, 1923 in Highland County, Ohio the daughter of the late Kelby and Ruth (Anderson) Crum. Mrs. Joiner had been a secretary at the Clinton County Air Force Base. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, David and Anita Cameron of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Fred Hoppes and Sharon and Myron Priest of Washington C.H.; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Kay and Jim Chappell of Alabama, stepson and daughter-in-law, Billy and Darcy Joiner of Texas, eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, several step grandchildren and a brother-in-law, Charles R. Davidson of Leesburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse B. Joiner on April 24, 2004, a stepson, Jerry Joiner, sister, Mary Davidson and brothers, Ralph, Eugene and John Crum. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Turner Funeral Home in Leesburg. Danny Dodds will officiate. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Leesburg.
