Virginia Marie Johnston, age 73, of Hillsboro, died Sunday, March 21, 2004 at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati. She was born August 19, 1930 in Chillicothe, Ohio the daughter of the late William and Ella Pinney Caldwell. She is survived by one daughter Debra Dean of Hillsboro; one son John (Cathy) Massie of Chillicothe; six grandchildren Joey (Mandy) Mendenhall of Chillicothe, Amber Williams of Hillsboro, Danielle (Edward) Coleman of Hillsboro, Shawn Massie, Brian Massie and Brittany Massie all of Chillicothe; three great grandchildren Gavin Mendenhall, Kalob and Kiersten Williams; and very special friend and former son-in-law Phil Dean of Leesburg. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by one sister and two brothers. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 26, 2004 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home, Hillsboro. The Rev. Allan Hunt will officiate. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
