Dear Bob and Ruth; Quite a surprise to see the notice regarding your mother; Just a couple of days ago she was shopping at Krogers and we had a nice visit, She was giving me words of comfort and we kept seeing each other in about every aisle and it became rather funny. She was telling me she felt pretty good and was still driving her car but she wasn`t sure how long that would be. I guess I am the last adult remaining from the old card and new years eve party time. She was always very much the lady and she has left you a great legacy to follow. Words will not comfort you as I have found out but it does help to know that people do understand the feelings that we experience at this time. May you rely on God to provide the comfort you can use, Bless you and your families--In Christian love Skip

Marian was such a wonderful lady and musician. She along with Mary Muntz instilled me with a lifelong appreciation of music, especially choral.
I'm sorry not to have had a chance to see her in recent years. She was an important part of my childhood at Dodsonville Methodist and I am so sorry to learn of her passing. My sincerest condolences to her children and grandchildren.
