Ethel
“Nora” Jenkins, age 84, of Hillsboro, died Tuesday morning, November 8, 2011
at the
Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe. She was born October 6, 1927, in
Paintsville, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Charles and Myrtle (Smith)
King. She is survived by her husband, Ollie Jenkins, three daughters, Myrtle
Jenkins, Dixie (Charles) Thompson and Bonnie (Kenny) Trimble, all of
Chillicothe; two sons, John (Felicia) Jenkins and Ollie (Tonya) Jenkins Jr.,
both of Kentucky; two daughters-in-law, Rose Mary Jenkins-Nolan and Anna
Jenkins; three sisters-in-law, Bonnie (Alec) Cantrell, Dixie (Gary) Daniels and
Peggy Williams; four brothers-in-law, Clyde (Irene) Jenkins, Cordie (Gwina)
Jenkins, Bill (Joni) Jenkins and Darley (Omie) Jenkins; twenty five
grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, many great-great grandchildren and
nieces and nephews as well as her best friend, Sue King of Columbus. In
addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband,
Columbus “Lum” Jenkins; two daughters, Kathleen (Thomas) Coleman and Imogene
Bailey; three sons, Kenneth E., Donnie and Denny Jenkins; six sisters and nine
brothers. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 11, 2011 at
the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Pastor Kenny Cousar will
officiate. Burial will follow in the Carmel Church of God Cemetery. Friends
may call from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, November 10, 2011 at the Turner &

The loss of my aunt just breaks my heart and she was one of the sweetest aunts I could've ask for and she will be so sadly missed by all her family and friends whom knew and loved her!Uncle Ollie I love u and to all my cousins!!

Uncle Ollie and Family I so wanted to be there but my car is messed up and i've been sick with my kidneys also!I'm so sorry and aunt nora u will be so sadly missed and u was such sweet aunt and I thank god for the time i got to spend with u and uncle ollie at dad and moms when u all would come in and stay when i was younger!My heart was and still is with u uncle ollie and all the family and I love u with all my heart!Love your neice yolanda!
