Donald Edward Jaspers age 65, of Fayetteville, died Sunday, June 2, 2002 at the Clermont Mercy Hospital in Batavia. He was born June 5, 1936 in Cincinnati, the son of the late Edward and Bertha Ellington Jaspers. He retired from the Batavia Plant of the Ford Motor Co. as an electrician. He was an Army Veteran during the Korean era and was a member of the St. Martin Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife Patricia Blankmeyer Jaspers, whom he married September 9, 1959 in Mt. Lookout, Ohio, two sons, Edward Jaspers of Goshen, Eric Jaspers of Chicago, one daughter, Lou Ann Livengood of Goshen, 6 grandchildren, his step mother, Gladys Limming Jaspers of Columbus, and a step sister, Patricia Stinsen of Columbus. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, June 6, 2002 at the St. Martin Catholic Church in St. Martin, Ohio. Rev. Mike Savino will officiate. Burial will follow in the St. Martin Cemetery. Friends may call two hours prior to the time of Mass.
