Eleanor M. Irvin, age 55, of Leesburg, died Tuesday, October 15, 2002 at the Highland District Hospital. She was born May 23, 1947 in Greenfield, Ohio the daughter of Orin E. and Mary (Seitz) McKinley. She was employed at 5/3 Bank in Hillsboro. Eleanor was very active in the church, she was Youth Group Leader, Song Leader and Pianist, she was a former member of the Hillsboro Christian Women’s Club, she touched many lives with the work she did with the youth and her songs of praise sung through the years. Over the years she attended Centerfield Friends Church, Hillsboro Church of Christ in Christian Union, and most recently, the Highland United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, Dan E. Irvin, to whom she married August 9, 1965; her mother Mary (Seitz) McKinley; daughter Kristina Kay (Irvin) Thomas and her husband Mark, of Leesburg; son Wyatt Irvin and his wife Stacey, of Leesburg; grandchildren Matthew Carson, Jarred Carson, Alec Irvin and Griffin Irvin, all of Leesburg; two brothers, Roy (Darlene) McKinley of Blanchester and Tom (Debbie) McKinley, of Leesburg. She was preceded in death by her father Orin E. McKinley and one brother Gary Lee McKinley. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 18, 2002 at the Turner Funeral Home, Leesburg. Rev. Gail Shewalter will officiate. Burial will follow in the White Oak Grove Cemetery, Buena Vista. Friends may call on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the Turner Funeral Home, Leesburg.
