Katherine L. Howard age 68 of Hillsboro died Thursday, May 16, 2002 at the Hospice of Dayton. She was born August 6, 1933 in Hillsboro the daughter of the late Rollo and Mary Alice (Stroop) Hughes. She was a member of the Hillsboro Fraternal Order of Eagles #1161 Auxiliary. She is survived by three daughters and son-in-law, Susan and Jerry Cloud of Hillsboro, Julia Hall of Dayton, Katherine Jo Howard of California, nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren, two brothers, Earl Hughes of Hillsboro and Gerald Hughes of Tennessee. Graveside services will be held on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at the Hillsboro Cemetery. The Rev. Tom Zile will officiate. There will be no visitation.
