Samuel House, age 86, of Lynchburg, died Saturday, April 2, 2005 at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton. He was born November 19, 1918, in Nicholasville, Kentucky, the son of the late Clifton and Clara Walker House. He moved to the Highland County area in 1956 and was a lifelong farmer. He is survived by one son Harold (Susie) House of Lynchburg; one daughter-in-law Peggy House of Hillsboro; six grandchildren, Tim House, Diana House, Debbie (Randy) Westfall, Kathy (Sam) Taynor, Karen (Dan) Chambers and Kim (Mike) Collins; two brothers, Roy( Helen) House of Lewisburg, Ohio and David House of Nicholasville, Kentucky; one sister-in-law Nancy House of Nicholasville, Kentucky; seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Reynolds House, January 8, 1989; son Paul House, two sisters Marie Sebastian and Dolly Rankin; two brothers Hansel and Lloyd House; and one granddaughter-in-law Nancy House. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2005 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home, Hillsboro. Burial will follow in the House Family Cemetery near Nicholasville, Kentucky. So sorry of the passing of Grandpa House. One of our fondest memories were riding our bicycles up to visit Grandma & Grandpa House as Travis & Megan called them. I used to love to visit with both of them in the evenings. Our sympathy is with the family. Dale & Peggy Gard
