Robert J. Houk age 70 of St. Martin, Ohio died Tuesday morning, September 20, 2005 at the Clinton memorial Hospital in Wilmington. He was born August3, 1935 in Fayetteville, Ohio the son of the late Norman and Norma (Williams) Houk. Mr. Houk was a longtime farmer and resident of the St. Martin Community and was a member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Martin Catholic Church. He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Lawson of Union, Kentucky, sons and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Penny Houk of St. Martin, Kendall Houk of St. Martin, Kraig Houk of Fort Mill, South Carolina, four grandchildren, Desiree Houk, Dillon Houk, Meghan (Scott) Andrews, Matthew Lawson, his former wife, Sue (Poston) Houk of Blanchester, his very best friend, Ralph Barber of Fayetteville and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Dolores Mezger. Services will be held at the graveside in the St. Martin Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 24th. Calvin Martin will officiate. Friends may call on Friday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg.
