Holy Name Church is a Roman Catholic parish community located on 746 South Route 133 in Blanchester (Clinton County).  The church was established in 1861 as a mission of St. Mary's in Hillsboro.  Holy Name had its early beginnings in a small white church on East Fancy Street in Blanchester.  To accommodate growth of the parish, a new and larger church was constructed at our present location in 1958.

Today, Holy Name remains a strong and vibrant faith community under the Catholic Archdiocese of Cincinnati.  We are part of a cluster of churches which includes St. Patrick's in Fayetteville and St. Martin's in St. Martin.  At the present time our congregation includes about 180 families.  Mass is celebrated each weekend on Saturday afternoon (4pm) and Sunday morning (10:30 am).  The staff and parishioners of Holy Name are committed to helping families deal with the death of a loved one.  A bereavement ministry team works with the family to assist in funeral planning.  Contact Rev.
