On Sunday, December 3, 2006 at 3:00 p.m., in the Edward K. Daniels Auditorium of the Southern State College Community College in Hillsboro, the Turner Funeral Homes will be hosting the Hope for the Holidays program to help the bereaved and their families cope with the loss of a loved one. The program, which began in 1990, has proven to be very valuable to those who have experienced the death of a loved one. Holidays can be especially difficult for those who are grieving. The Turner Funeral Home family would like to extend an invitation to the entire community to take part in this worthwhile program. Everyone is welcome.
This years featured speaker will be Reverend Max Jackson, from the Leesburg United Methodist Church. A special candlelight service and the dedication of a holiday ornament for each family the Turner Funeral Homes have served will take place. Light refreshments will be served following the program.
