Dolores Mae Hoehne age 73 of Hillsboro, Ohio died Saturday evening, April 6, 2002 at the Crestwood Nursing Center in Hillsboro. She was born May 6, 1928 in Kirkwood Missouri the daughter of the late, Louis and Leonie (Vuylsteke) Kern. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Hillsboro. She is survived by her husband, Vernon O. Hoehne whom she had married on March 9, 1946 in Des Peres, Missouri, daughters and sons-in-law, Janis A. and Steven Wright of Dayton, Lynda D. and William Tompkins of Beavercreek, son, Scott A. Hoehne of Hillsboro, daughter-in-law, Anne Hoehne of Columbus, Ohio, sister, Jane Brown of Kirkwood, Missouri, grandsons, Christopher Brad Hoehne, Nathan Wright and Christopher Hoehne, granddaughters, Caroline Justus, Laura Wright, Krystal (Christopher) Kay and Shawna Hoehne and one great granddaughter, MacKenzie L. Kay. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Dale J. Hoehne on June 18, 2001. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 13, at the Peace Lutheran Church in Hillsboro. Pastor Doug Campbell will officiate. Burial will follow in the High Top Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Memorial contributions may be made to the Peace Lutheran Church Building Fund, 115 East Josie Avenue, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133 or to the Sloan Kettering Cancer Research Center, 1275 York Avenue, N.Y., N.Y. 10021.
