Doloris L. Hibbs, age 69, of Midland, died Tuesday, November 22, 2005 at Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington. She was born June 18, 1936 in Clarksville, Ohio the daughter of the late Fred and Roxie McClanahan Thompson. She is survived by her husband Wayne S. Hibbs, to whom she married January 16, 1952 in Lynchburg; three sons, Wayne Allen (Mattie) Hibbs, Tommy Hibbs and Charles Hibbs, all of Midland; two daughters, Barbara Hibbs of Washington C.H. and Joyce Ann Hibbs of Sardinia; nine grandchildren, Mandi (Shane) Byrom, Candi Helton, Laura Hibbs, Wayne T. Hibbs, Cathie Hibbs, Bobbie Hibbs, Jamie Hibbs, Angel (Shawn) Kellough, and Shannon (Lynn) Stadafer; 12 great grandchildren; two brothers, Billy Paul (Rose) Thompson of Wilmington and Frank (Judy) Thompson of Spring Valley, Ohio; and two sisters, Vera Hibbs of Blanchester and Sue Flores of Hillsboro. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her daughter Wanda Gregory; son Arnold E. Hibbs; two brothers, Fred and Milton Thompson; five half-sisters, Beatrice Barney, Anna Bell Tolle, Dorothy Jenkins, Clara Ross and Zelma Conger; and two half brothers Lloyd and Ernie Thompson. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 26, 2005 at Davis-Turner Funeral Home, Lynchburg. Rick Godlove of the Lynchburg First Church of Christ will officiate. Burial will follow in the Martinsville I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
