Marjorie L. Hertlein age 72 of Lynchburg died Saturday morning, December 28, 2002 at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton. She was born December 17, 1930 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of the late Lee and Louise (Wahrer) Aydelott. Mrs. Hertlein was a former member of the Lynchburg Order of Eastern Star and had volunteered with the Lynchburg Life Squad for several years. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Rita Hertlein, David and Nancy Hertlein and Alan and Debbie Hertlein all of Lynchburg, two daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Jerry Pfister and Janet and Brian Collins all of Lynchburg, eleven grandchildren, Tracy Pfister of Jacksonville, Florida, Matt Pfister of Wilmington, Tammy Hertlein of Columbus, Hannah Collins of St. Martin, Ryan Collins of Lynchburg, Emily Livengood of Blanchester, Cassie Young of Lynchburg, Ashley Collins of Lynchburg, Britney Hertlein of Lynchburg, Brett Hertlein of Lynchburg and Brooke Hertlein of Lynchburg and one great grandson, Zackary Howard of Jacksonville, Florida. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold C. Hertlein on January 11, 1981 and by one sister, Eileen Welty. Services will be held on Tuesday at the convenience of the family at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg. Pastor Bill Biza will officiate. Burial will follow in the Lynchburg Masonic Cemetery. There will be no public visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
