Robert Wesley “Carlos” Haynie, age 71 of Hillsboro, died Monday, July 26, 2004 at Highland District Hospital. He was born August 4, 1932 in Pomeroy, the son of the late Paul and Verl (Cluff) Haynie. He was a long time owner/operator truck driver and an avid C.B. radio operator. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. On September 19, 1961, he married Florence J. Wisecup in Ross County, who survives. He is also survived by five sons, Glenn Haynie, David W. Haynie of Lynchburg, Gary W. Haynie of Hillsboro, Michael Haynie of Hillsboro, Robert A. Haynie, of Greenfield, four daughters, Donna S. (Rick) Staub of Lynchburg, Linda K. (David) Roberts of Leesburg, Rosemary J. Haynie of Hillsboro and Carol Haynie of Chillicothe, two sisters Julie Kuhn and Irene Kuhn of Chillicothe and a brother Donald Haynie of Arizona, 13 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sons Robert W. Haynie and Donald Haynie, and two brothers John Byron Kuhn and Max Kuhn. Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday July 29, 2004 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Burial will follow at Bainbridge Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday, July 29, 2004 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
