Joseph W. Ham age 74 of Leesburg,
Ohio died Wednesday, April 21, 2004 at the Kobacher House in Columbus. He was
born February 4, 1930 in Frankfort, Indiana the son of the late John Rodman and
Wilma (Shanklin) Ham. Mr. Ham was a retired account representative for the
Nabisco Company, an Air Force veteran of World War II, Past Commander of the
Leasure Blackston American Legion Post 239 in Worthington, was active in the
Republican Party and enjoyed playing Euchre and Monopoly.
He was also a member and had served as treasurer of the Leesburg Friends
Church. He is survived by his fiancé and loving companion, Alta M Eitel of
Columbus, two sons and daughters-in-law, Bradley and Jeanne Ham of Mt. Vernon,
Ohio, Brian W. and Mary Ham of
Cardington, Ohio, ten grandchildren, Laura, Kevin, Kylie, Melissa, Michael,
Tricia and Ashley Ham, Brandy (Ian) Frias,
Derek Hollobaugh and Kari Hollobaugh, three great grandchildren, Kayla Houston,
Dakota Frias and Austin Frias, his extended family, Leslie and Tom Blincoe of
Worthington, Susie Konkel of Wisconsin, Jill and Mark Hutchinson of
Columbus, Jeremy and Amy Johnston of Wisconsin and special friends, Paul and
Rosie Henson of Leesburg, Dan and Marilyn Geese of Leesburg, the management and
staff of the Bethel Road, Texas Roadhouse and his best friend, Dee Dee. Services
will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Turner Funeral Home in Leesburg.
Pastor John Fitzgerald will officiate. Burial will follow on Monday at 10:00
a.m. (Indiana time) at the Green Lawn Cemetery in Frankfort, Indiana. Friends
may call on Friday from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Turner Funeral Home in
