Marie
Griffith
age 95 formerly of
Mt. Orab died Monday, January 15, 2007 at the Laurels of Hillsboro. She was born
November 19, 1911 in Sardinia, Ohio the daughter of the late Ray and Mabel
Earhart Kratzer. Mrs. Griffith was a member of the Mt. Orab Church of Christ,
the Ladies Auxiliary, Senior Saints and the Brown County Senior Citizens. She is
survived by three grandchildren, John E. (Kathy) Workman II of Pricetown,
Stephan Workman of Lexington, Kentucky, Timothy Lee (Kim) Workman of Milwaukee,
Wisconsin, six great grandchildren, Kristy (Nathan) Cook of Hillsboro, Kim
Workman of Pricetown, Hannah Workman of Lexington, Kentucky, Greta Workman of
Lexington, Kentucky, Eric Workman of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Ryan Workman of
Milwaukee, Wisconsin, two great great grandchildren, Caleb Cook of Hillsboro and
Katie Cook of Hillsboro. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death
by her first husband, Roy Haggerty and second husband, Leroy Griffith. Services
will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday at the Mt. Orab Church of Christ, 400 Smith
Avenue, Mt. Orab, Ohio. Burial will follow in the Mt. Orab Cemetery. Friends may
call on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Mt. Orab Church of Christ.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Orab Church of Christ, 400 Smith
Avenue, Mt. Orab, Ohio 45154 or to Hospice of Hope,

To Marie's family: I was saddened to hear of Marie's death. I used to attend MOCC and remember her faithfulness there. May God bless and keep you in this time of loss.

BEST FRIENDS WHILE MY MOTHER LIVED IN MT. ORAB.
MY SISTER LINDA AND I CALLED HER OUR OTHER
MOTHER AFTER OUR MOTHER PASSED AWAY 2/13/82. SHE
WAS A DEAR FRIEND AND WE SHARED CHRISTMAS CARDS
UNTIL SHE WENT INTO THE NURSING HOME. LINDA AND
I WERE NOT AWARE OF THAT AT TIME AND WE REGRET
THAT WE DID NOT KNOW SO WE COULD VISIT WITH HER.
OUR SYMPATHY TO ALL OF MARIES FAMILY. SHE WAS
THE GREATEST!!!!
