James “Jamie” Griffith age 37 of Hillsboro died Wednesday morning, February 18, 2004 at the Heartland of Hillsboro. He was born September 15, 1966 in Greenfield, Ohio the son of John and Helen Everetts Griffith. He was a member of the Hillsboro Church of Christ and was a 1984 graduate of Hillsboro High School. He is survived by his parents, John and Helen Griffith of Hillsboro, one brother and sister-in-law, John and Hallie Griffith II of Hamilton, paternal grandmother, Gladys Griffith of Hillsboro, two step-nephews, Michael McVeigh and Jamie Williamson, one step-niece, Heather Miller, one step great niece, Jazmine Miller, three uncles, Lawrence (Kate) Griffith Jr. of Hillsboro, Marion “Jim” Griffith of Hillsboro, Donald (Dorothy) Everetts of Dayton, two aunts, Norma (Bob) Rumfield of Sinking Spring, Elsie Everetts of Rainsboro, several cousins and special friends, all the waitresses that knew him. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Burial will follow in the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery.
