Ray Marion Greene age 69 of Casey, IL (formerly of New Vienna, OH) passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2002 at the VA Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. Mr. Greene was born May 23, 1933 in Peebles, OH, the son Charlie J. and Bertha Harris Greene, who preceded him in death. Mr. Greene was a member of the Church of the Nazarene. He was the retired Owner and Operator of Siding Specialists in New Vienna, OH. Mr. Greene was a Veteran of the United States Air Force having served in the Korean Conflict. He was married to Betty Jane Gould on May 11, 1963 and she survives. Surviving member of the immediate family includes sons and daughters-in-law, Steven R. (Laurie) Greene of Seymour, IN, and Thomas L. (Karen) Greene of Lexington, S.C. Also surviving are three sisters, Phyllis Ross of Greenfield, OH; Margene Keaton of Hillsboro, OH; Winona Storer of Hillsboro and one brother, Dean Greene of Hillsboro. Services will be held at the First Church of the Nazarene in Hillsboro, OH, on Saturday, June 22, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. The Rev. Steven R. Greene and The Rev. Tom Zile will officiate. Burial will follow in the High Top Cemetery in Samantha, OH. Visitation will be held at the Church and will precede the services from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
