William Marshall Greathouse age 77 of Hillsboro died Friday February 23, 2007 at the Laurels of Hillsboro. He was born February 13, 1930 in Ash Ridge, Ohio the son of the late Clarence Albert and Hulda L. Fite Greathouse. Mr. Greathouse had worked for Delco Products in Kettering for forty-four years. He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War and had served for 7½ years in the U. S. Air Force Reserves. He is survived by his wife, Mary Warren Greathouse whom he had married on February 19, 1954 in Centerville, Ohio, four daughters, Bonita (Denny ) Owens of Xenia, Connie (Gary) Fenner of Hillsboro, Marsha McKeever of Hillsboro, Lisa (Anthony) Mottie of Hillsboro, three grandchildren, Timothy “T.J.” Mottie, Breanna Mottie and Jared McKeever all of Hillsboro, three step grandchildren, April (Scott) Harris of Xenia, Wes (Robbie) Owens of Springfield, Jason Owens of Columbus and four step great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, David Timothy Greathouse, grandson, Jordan McKeever, son-in-law, Glen McKeever, two sisters, Louise Ryan and Betty Jo Greathouse and two brothers, Wendell Greathouse and an infant brother. Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 28th at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Bishop Don Young will officiate. Burial with military honors presented by the Highland County Honor Guard will follow in the New Market Baptist Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Care Hospice, P. O. Box 123, Wilmington, Ohio 45177 or to the Oncology Department of Highland District Hospital, 1275 North High Street, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133.
