Eva Gillem, age 88, of Hillsboro, died Monday, October 9, 2006 at The Laurels of Hillsboro.  She was born June 11, 1918, in McGoffin County, Kentucky, the son of the late Stephen M. and Rosalee (Tacket) Caudill.  She was a member of the United Baptist Church of Greenfield and attended the Hillsboro Church of God.   On June 20, 1970, in Highland, she married Charles Gillem, who survives.  She is also survived by two sons, Thomas and his wife Martha Francis of Plain City, David and his wife Janet Francis of McConnellsville, six daughters, Marylene and her husband Bill May of Plain City, Magalene and her husband Frank Taylor of Plain City, Naomi and her husband Pearl Mottispaw of New Martinsburg, Patty and her husband Ted Long of Washington Court House, Cathy and her husband Phil Ward of South Salem and Jean and her husband Eddie Groves of Hillsboro, a son-in-law, Bill Smith of Hillsboro, a sister Maltie Jenkins of Waverly, and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Gracie Taylor Smith and Delpha Helen Francis, four sisters and six brothers. Funeral services for Mrs. Gillem will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 14,  2006 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro.  Mrs. Gillem’s grandson Rev.
