
Harold J. Gall, age 66, of Hillsboro, died Saturday evening May 21, 2005. He was born on April 29, 1939 in Hillsboro, the son of the late King D. and Nellie (Davis) Gall. He was a member of the Hillsboro Church of the Nazarene in Hillsboro for 38 years. Mr. Gall was an employee of the Gross Fieble Safe Company in Hillsboro, EWP Manufacturing in Wilmington, the RC Webb Construction Company of Hillsboro and was a former staff member of the Hills and Dales Training Center. He was a machinist, welder, woodcrafter, carpenter, artist, outdoorsman, rifleman, instructor, metal smith and gold prospector. Harold completed many projects for the community, and portrayed Abraham Lincoln at many local festivities and events. He is survived by his wife, Flossie M. (Short) Gall, whom he married on April 9, 1959, in Hillsboro, a son, Thomas H. (Shawn) Gall of Hillsboro, a daughter, Teresa L. (James L. Johnson) Trimm of Hillsboro, three grandchildren, Seth T. Gall, Mitchell W. Gall and Dillon J.R. Gall, all of Hillsboro, one brother, Richard (Martha) Gall of Hillsboro, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Bobby L. Gall, a sister Viola Fishback, a brother, Thomas S. Gall, and three infant siblings. Funeral services for Mr. Gall will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2005 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Pastor Tom Zile will officiate. Burial will follow in the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
