Mary Agnes Funkhouser age 65 of Lynchburg, Ohio died Monday evening December 23, 2002 at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. She was born September 2, 1937 in McCreary County, Kentucky the daughter of the late, George D. and Jessie (Young) Conley. Mrs. Funkhouser was a Registered Nurse graduating from Good Samaritan Nursing School in 1961. She worked as a nurse at the Glass Family Nursing Homes in Cincinnati for fourteen years and had also worked at the Whitehouse Nursing Home in Hillsboro and the Continental Manor Nursing Home in Blanchester. She is survived by her husband, James William Funkhouser Sr. whom she had married on October 3, 1963 in Kennedy Heights, Ohio, one son, James W. Funkhouser Jr. of Lynchburg, a daughter-in-law, Briget Funkhouser of Colorado, two sisters, Betty Beach of North Carolina, Judy Huber of Harrison, three brothers, William Joshua Conley of North Carolina, Kenneth Wayne Conley of Cincinnati, Robert Gordon Conley of Arizona, five grandchildren, Cassandra Ashley, Kevin Wayne Jr., Samantha Michele, Kaitlyn Nicole and Jonathan Michael Funkhouser all of Colorado. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Kevin Wayne Funkhouser on December 10, 1999, two brothers, James Allen Conley and George E. Conley and one sister, Alma Jo Cooper. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Pastor Keith Perkins will officiate. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Memory Gardens in Hillsboro. Friends may call on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P. O.
