Eileen Mary Freeman age 83 of Hillsboro died Wednesday evening, September 14, 2005 at her home at Rocky Fork Lake. She was born August 31, 1922 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of the late Ralph and Ella (Krieg) Stiens. Mrs. Freeman was a member of the Highland County Humane Society, St. Philip Catholic Church and had attended the Samantha Freewill Baptist Church and the Salt Creek Christian Church. She had worked for the Drackett Company and had also worked as a waitress in several restaurants. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy Freeman of Germantown, Patricia and Fred Drennan of Loveland, Anita and Curt Brewer of Hillsboro Lauren Camille Freeman of Hillsboro, sons and daughters-in-law, John and Charlotte Freeman of Greenfield, James Freeman of Hillsboro and Colby Wade Freeman of Hillsboro, ten grandchildren, Sean, Tim, Dwight and Scott Hacker, Frederick and Christopher Drennan, Colleen Sturgill, Mary Ann Jackson, Linda Stanforth and Kim Estel, eighteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, four brothers, Ralph Stiens of Cincinnati, Donald Stiens of Springboro, Irvin Stiens of Fayetteville and James Stiens of Clarksville, three sisters, Ann Benton of West Chester, Jean Lou Seyfried of Deer Park and Sherry Pierce of Owensville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Woodrow Freeman on May 24, 2000, one daughter, Edna Freeman, one great grandson, Adam Hacker and two brothers, Frank and Robert Stiens. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Frank Klamet at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 19th in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hillsboro. Burial will follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Montgomery, Ohio. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
